Compliance Essentials Masterclass

Designed for aged care key personnel at all levels of the organisation and for all sizes of organisations, the Masterclass focuses on enabling the capabilities of leaders in delivering on their key personnel obligations an approved provider responsibilities. This Masterclass is run in collaboration with Thomson Geer.

The masterclass is ideal for Board Members, Executives, and all Key personnel in Corporate, Regional, and Service level roles. We have conducted this program to over 500 people with overwhelmingly positive feedback. This masterclass is split into 6 modules, each 2 hours in duration.

What is covered in the modules?

Module 1:

Foundation – Legislation, Key reforms, Regulatory Administration, Approved Provider responsibilities and Key personnel

Module 2:

Approved Provider Obligations Approved providers responsibilities – User rights and accountability including – security of tenure, resident agreements, complaints management and additional services.

Module 3:

Key Personnel, Assessing Compliance and Consequences of Non-Compliance Key Personnel (obligations, liability and responsibilities), non-compliance and the Quality and Safety Commission, sanctions and review of decisions.

Module 4:

Aged Care Standards, Principles and Practices of Compliance Remediation Aged Care Quality Standards, consumer decision making, lessons learnt on compliance risk and, non-compliance theme and principles and practices of compliance remediation including compliance decisions and statutory appointments.
